Private Car & Taxi from Malaysia to Singapore

Holidays in Malaysia often start with careful planning and end in a scramble: a hotel check-out, a pile of luggage, bags of local snacks, and a long way back to Singapore. Luxway SGMY takes care of that last part. Tell us where you are — a resort in Desaru, a heritage hotel in Melaka, a condo in Kuala Lumpur or a homestay in the Cameron Highlands — and a private car will collect you and bring you to your door in Singapore.

Every ride is one way or return, priced per car, with tolls, checkpoint fees, fuel and parking included. You stay in the vehicle through Malaysian and Singapore immigration, there is no deposit, and you pay the driver in cash when you arrive home.

How a One-Way Trip Back to Singapore Works

Not everyone wants a round trip. You might fly into Penang and drive home, take a bus to Melaka and fancy a comfortable ride back, or go up with friends who are staying on. A one-way booking from Malaysia to Singapore is exactly the same service as our trips from Singapore — just in the opposite direction, with the same fixed fare.

The driver comes to your hotel, house or attraction at the agreed time, loads the bags, and heads for the border. Both checkpoints are cleared without leaving your seat, and you are dropped wherever you like in Singapore: your home, a hotel, an office or Changi Airport.

Booking the Ride Home After Your Holiday

You can book before you leave Singapore or while you are already in Malaysia. Either way, it takes a few WhatsApp messages:

  • Send the pick-up address in Malaysia and your drop-off address in Singapore
  • Tell us the date, your check-out or ready time, and how many people
  • Mention big suitcases, strollers, wheelchairs or child seats
  • Receive a written confirmation with the fare — nothing to pay in advance
  • Your driver messages you before arrival; pay in cash when you reach home

Plans change on holiday. If you need to shift your pick-up time, just message us as early as you can and we will do our best to adjust.

Places We Pick Up From

In Johor, the closest rides home start from Mount Austin and Legoland Malaysia, both from SGD 100. Beach and nature trips bring you back from Desaru, Kota Tinggi, Kukup and the island jetties at Mersing and Tanjung Gemok. Food lovers often return from Muar, and families from UK Farm in Kluang.

Further north, we collect from Melaka, Port Dickson, Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands and the rice fields of Sekinchan. For the longest drives home, we pick up in Ipoh, the Cameron Highlands and Penang.

Each page explains the drive, the sights and the best vehicle for that place. Somewhere not listed, such as Batu Pahat, Seremban or Kuantan? Ask us on WhatsApp — many towns share a fare with a nearby destination.

Airport and City Routes

Some journeys deserve their own page. Coming home from the next city over? See Johor Bahru to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. Flying into Johor? Our Senai Airport to Singapore transfer meets you at arrivals. Going the other way, we also drive Changi Airport to Johor Bahru and Singapore to KLIA. All airport fares are on one page at airport transfer rates.

For the vehicle, the rule of thumb is simple: the Toyota Innova for small groups with light bags, the Alphard, Vellfire or Staria for more luggage and comfort on long drives, and the Hiace or 18-seater van for bigger groups. Within Johor, up to four passengers can also choose the cheaper standard car.

Every Ride Includes

  • Fixed, all-inclusive fare — tolls, fuel, and parking covered
  • Zero deposit — pay your driver in cash on arrival
  • Door-to-door service — no transfers, no bus terminals
  • Stay in the vehicle through immigration at both crossings
  • Professional, experienced cross-border drivers
  • 24/7 availability

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book only one way from Malaysia to Singapore?

Yes. One-way trips back to Singapore are common — the one-way fares are listed in the table above.

Is the fare the same as going from Singapore?

Yes, our fares are the same in both directions. Each destination page shows one-way and return prices for every vehicle.

Where in Singapore can you drop us?

Any address — homes, hotels, offices or Changi Airport. The fare is the same wherever you are going in Singapore.

How far ahead should I book the return?

A few days ahead is usually fine. For school holidays, festive seasons and long weekends, book as early as you can, as those dates fill quickly.

Can you collect us from an island jetty after a ferry?

Yes — Mersing and Tanjung Gemok jetty pick-ups are common after island holidays. Ferry times can slip, so share the ferry schedule and keep us posted on WhatsApp on the day.

Do we have to get out of the car at immigration?

No. All passengers stay in the vehicle at the Malaysian and Singapore checkpoints, so your luggage stays in the boot the whole way.

Can the driver stop on the way home?

Yes — meal, toilet and quick shopping stops are fine on longer drives. For a day of sightseeing on the way, ask about our Day Trip Service.

Which vehicle is best for the long drive from Penang or Ipoh?

For five hours or more on the road, most families prefer the Alphard, Vellfire or Staria for the captain seats and extra luggage space. The Innova is fine for lighter groups who want the lowest fare.
