Private Car from Singapore to UK Farm, Kluang

UK Farm Agro Resort is a working goat and sheep farm on the outskirts of Kluang, in the middle of Johor, and one of the easiest countryside outings for Singapore families. Children get to meet and feed the animals, parents can pick up goat’s milk products from the farm, and anyone who wants a slower pace can stay overnight at the resort. Kluang town, with its famous railway-station coffee shop, is only a short drive away.

Getting there without a car is awkward — it means a bus to Kluang and a local taxi out to the farm. A Luxway SGMY private car takes your family from your front door to the farm gate, with everyone staying seated through both checkpoints, and can make a coffee stop in Kluang town on the way. You pay the driver on arrival, with no deposit.

Things to Do at UK Farm and in Kluang

The farm fills most of a day, and Kluang town adds a good meal and a bit of local character. Activities at the resort can change, so check the current list with UK Farm before you go.

Feed the goats and sheep

The highlight for most children: getting up close to the herds and feeding them by hand. Bring wet wipes — the goats are enthusiastic.

Farm walk

Wander the pens and open grounds to see how a working livestock farm runs. Morning visits are cooler and the animals are usually more active.

Goat’s milk products

The farm shop sells goat’s milk and goat-milk items such as soaps and treats. A cooler bag in the boot keeps fresh products cold on the drive home.

Stay at the resort

Overnight rooms let you see the farm in the quiet early morning and evening. Book a one-way drop now and your return pick-up for check-out day.

Kluang Rail Coffee

This old coffee shop at Kluang’s railway station is famous for strong local coffee, kaya toast and simple local dishes — a classic stop before or after the farm.

Gunung Lambak

The forested hill just outside Kluang town has walking trails and a recreational park at its foot. A good early-morning hike for older kids and active adults.

Planning a Family Day at the Farm

  • Leave Singapore early so you reach the farm in the cooler part of the morning; the afternoon sun in an open field is hard on small children
  • Wear covered shoes and bring a change of clothes, hats, sunblock, insect repellent and hand sanitiser
  • Ask for child seats when you book — SGD 10 (RM 35) per seat — so they are installed before pick-up
  • Pair the farm with lunch or kaya toast in Kluang town, then head home before the evening checkpoint rush
  • For a full day with the car on standby, book our Day Trip Service (8, 10 or 12 hours) instead of two separate transfers

The hourly packages and what they include are explained on our Day Trip Service page.

Kluang sits roughly in the middle of Johor, so it also pairs well with other inland or east-coast trips — browse more ideas on our Singapore to Johor page.

Best Time to Visit UK Farm

Weekdays are the quietest days at the farm and the easiest days at the checkpoints. Weekends and Singapore school holidays bring more families, so book your car a few days ahead if you are travelling then. Johor is warm all year, and afternoon showers are common in the wetter months, so plan the outdoor parts of your visit for the morning and keep the afternoon for Kluang town, the farm shop or a rest at the resort.

Which Vehicle for UK Farm?

A family of four with a stroller fits nicely in the Toyota Innova, which also has room for two child seats. If grandparents are coming or you are staying overnight with suitcases, the Alphard, Vellfire or Staria’s captain seats make the two-hour drive much more relaxed. Two or three families sharing the trip can split one Toyota Hiace or 18-seater van, and a couple or small family travelling light can save with the standard car for up to four passengers.

Every Ride Includes

  • Fixed, all-inclusive fare — tolls, fuel, and parking covered
  • Zero deposit — pay your driver in cash on arrival
  • Door-to-door service — no transfers, no bus terminals
  • Stay in the vehicle through immigration at both crossings
  • Professional, experienced cross-border drivers
  • 24/7 availability

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is UK Farm Kluang from Singapore?

Around 110 to 120 km from the Woodlands checkpoint, or about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes by car, depending on traffic and the border queue.

How much is a private car from Singapore to UK Farm?

From SGD 190 one way in a Toyota Innova. If you are staying overnight at the farm resort, book the return pick-up at the same time; for a single-day visit, a Day Trip Service package keeps the car waiting while the kids feed the animals.

Is UK Farm a good day trip from Singapore?

Yes — it is one of the closer farm outings in Johor. With our Day Trip Service the driver stays with you, so you can add Kluang town for lunch and still be home by evening.

Can you provide child seats?

Yes, on request, for SGD 10 (RM 35) per seat. Tell us the children’s ages when booking so we bring the right seats.

Can we stop at Kluang Rail Coffee on the way?

Of course. Mention it when you book and we will fit it into your plan, either before the farm or on the way home.

We are staying overnight at the resort. Can you pick us up after check-out?

Yes. Book a return trip and give us your check-out time; your driver will meet you at the resort and take you straight home.

Can the children stay asleep at the checkpoints?

Usually, yes. Everyone stays in the car while passports are checked at the booth, so there is no carrying sleepy children through a hall after a day of feeding goats. Officers may glance into the car to match faces to passports.
