Private Car from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia

Legoland Malaysia Resort in Iskandar Puteri was the first Legoland park in Asia, and it remains one of the easiest big family days out from Singapore. The resort brings together a theme park, a water park, the Sea Life aquarium and a Lego-themed hotel, all on one site just across the Tuas Second Link — near enough that the kids barely have time to get restless in the car.

Travelling with young children is where a private car really pays off. Luxway SGMY picks you up at home with child seats fitted if you ask, keeps the whole family in the car through both checkpoints, and drops you at the park entrance or the hotel lobby. No bus changes, no carrying sleepy toddlers through immigration halls, and one fixed fare per car that already includes tolls, checkpoint fees, fuel and parking.

What to Do at Legoland Malaysia Resort

You can easily spend two days here. These are the main parts of the resort and what nearby is worth a detour.

Legoland theme park

Rides, shows and build-and-play zones designed for children roughly aged 2 to 12, with gentle rides for toddlers and faster coasters for older kids.

Miniland

Famous Asian landmarks and cityscapes rebuilt in millions of Lego bricks — grown-ups often enjoy spotting Singapore and Malaysian sights as much as the kids do.

Legoland Water Park

Slides, a wave pool and a lazy river where you can build your own soft Lego raft. Pack swimwear and a change of clothes for everyone.

Sea Life Malaysia

An indoor aquarium beside the theme park, ideal for a cooler hour out of the midday heat or a rainy afternoon.

Legoland Hotel

Lego-themed family rooms right at the park gates. We drop you and all your bags at the lobby and collect you at check-out time.

Mall of Medini & Puteri Harbour

Mall of Medini next door has extra dining options, and the Puteri Harbour marina, a short drive away, is a relaxed spot for a waterfront dinner.

Tips for a Legoland Day with Kids

  • Use the Tuas Second Link — it leads almost straight to Iskandar Puteri and is often quieter than the Woodlands Causeway; your driver will pick the faster crossing on the day
  • Plan to arrive around opening time: the queues for popular rides are shortest early, and the morning is cooler
  • Ask for child seats when booking (SGD 10 / RM 35 per seat) and tell us your children’s ages so we fit the right ones
  • A folded stroller fits in the boot of our MPVs; if you are also bringing suitcases, tell us so we can suggest the right vehicle
  • Keep passports for every child in the car — even babies need their own passport to cross
  • Tired kids at closing time? A pre-booked return pick-up means the car is ready when you walk out, with no waiting for a ride

Day Trip, Overnight Stay or One Way?

For a single day in the park, most families book a return transfer: we drop you in the morning and come back at the time you choose. If you also want to visit Puteri Harbour or a mall on the way home, the hourly Day Trip Service keeps the car on standby for 8, 10 or 12 hours.

Staying at the Legoland Hotel or nearby? Book the drop-off and the return separately and we will collect you from the lobby on check-out day. If your holiday continues further into Malaysia, our Singapore to Malaysia page lists every route we cover.

Which Vehicle for Legoland?

A family of four with a stroller and day bags is comfortable in the Toyota Innova. If you are staying overnight with suitcases, or want room for two child seats plus wide captain chairs for the parents, choose the Alphard, Vellfire or Staria. Two families travelling together, or a school-holiday outing with cousins, fit in a Toyota Hiace or 18-seater van so all the kids ride together.

Every Ride Includes

  • Fixed, all-inclusive fare — tolls, fuel, and parking covered
  • Zero deposit — pay your driver in cash on arrival
  • Door-to-door service — no transfers, no bus terminals
  • Stay in the vehicle through immigration at both crossings
  • Professional, experienced cross-border drivers
  • 24/7 availability

Book Your Legoland Malaysia Transfer

On WhatsApp, send your pick-up address, the date, how many adults and children are coming (with the kids’ ages if you need child seats) and whether you are going home the same evening or staying at the resort. We confirm in writing, and you settle with the driver after the ride.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the drive from Singapore to Legoland Malaysia?

Usually about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes door to door. The park is roughly 20 km from the Tuas Second Link, so most of the time goes to reaching the checkpoint and clearing immigration.

How much does a private car to Legoland Malaysia cost?

From SGD 100 one way in a Toyota Innova, one fare for the whole family rather than per person. Child seats are SGD 10 (RM 35) each — tell us the children’s ages and we will bring the right size.

Can Legoland Malaysia be done as a day trip from Singapore?

Yes, easily. Book a return transfer or the hourly Day Trip Service, and you can be back home the same evening.

Do the kids have to get out at immigration?

No. The whole family stays in the car at both the Singapore and Malaysia checkpoints — handy when little ones are napping. Just have everyone’s passports ready.

Where will the driver drop us and pick us up?

At the main entrance of the park or the lobby of the Legoland Hotel, whichever you prefer. For the return, your driver will confirm the meeting point with you on WhatsApp.

Which vehicle fits two child seats and a stroller?

The Alphard, Vellfire or Staria is the most comfortable choice, with captain seats and space for luggage. An Innova also works for a day trip with light bags.

How early should we book for school holidays?

As early as you can. School holidays and long weekends are peak time at the park, so it pays to secure your car — especially a larger vehicle — well ahead.
